AL - In a time of change in my life, looking for other forms of expression through painting, seeking to express it another way, what I think and feel, with a different style. Regarding the acrylic Of course you care if it's yours.

GG - Thanks. Do you think that your works catch our attention for the technique or the image?

AL - I feel that the main idea is to express, not to draw attention to technique or image, but to get the message reaches the viewer.

GG - You think you're getting a full experience of your career as an artist?

AL-I feel that yes, in part beginning again and become more aware of myself and everything around me.

GG - How do you feel when your work is finished and ready to be exposed?

AL-feel that is part of me in it, I wanted to express what I feel and think.

GG - Do you think your art are contributing to something in your country or contemporary Latin American painting?

AL - I hope so ...

GG - What do you think, now, the cultural landscape in the world of painting?

AL - There is everything, but I think it necessary to give the importance it deserves.

GG - Does the Chilean public how to respond to the exhibitions of your work?

AL - I've had very good reviews about my previous work, nudes in pastel, like much but it's difficult to sell, in Chile the public is a bit reluctant to bare, however artistic and these are good and there is little culture in regard to having an original work, prefer copies or prints of great artists.

GG - This also happens in other countries, especially Latin Americans. Maybe they are the fears of what others think we carry since we started to have the use of reason, the education received at home ...
How are the showrooms in Chile?

AL-Yes, I think there is much truth in what you say ... To answer your question I will tell you that there are many galleries, but not many works that expose new artists, exhibiting works of authors prefer to already established and known. The environment is quite closed to that effect.

GG - Have you exposed somewhere else outside of Chile? And if so, in what country would you like to present and why?

AL-No, I have not had a chance, but I hope that what I'm doing and some future projects, to do so. There are several countries where I would like to make, both in Latin America and the United States and Europe. In Latin America, in Argentina, Brazil, Venezuela, because they are countries that have a different view of art and artists. In the United States because it is the biggest step, if all goes well, and consecrate you as an artist, this will open many doors for other parties to expose your work. In Europe, in Italy, France and Spain, because they are the cradle of art and every artist is to achieve as an artist and person.

GG-Any projects in the short and long term?

AL-A short-term exhibit in Chile in some important galleries that I make known, publish my Web page on the Internet to make known my work worldwide. In the long run to live in what I do as an artist, painting, music, design etc.

GG - A wish? Any illusion?

AL - A desire to achieve my goals and short-and long-term and find a place in the world to live, be happy and work on what I like painting, music, design, etc.. Then

GG I wish you luck, it is sometimes difficult to find that perfect place, but remember that everything is in the fair value we place on things that really interest us.

AL. Thank you GG

Allen Ginsberg, William Burroughs and Gregory Corso, Kerouac built the myth dell'antieroe U.S.: vagabond, unconventional, intelligent ... serving of inspiration to the hippie movement and protests of the sixties. Although several of his novels have been translated and published in Castilian, his poems scattered in travel diaries and journals of limited distribution, barely arrived on the English market, except for an edition of Viewfinder, lost poems, which appear jaikus already briefly some of the author. The

Jaiku is a haiku or poem of Japanese origin made up 17 syllables distributed in three lines (5) 7, 5, capable of capturing a moment in life, usually related with the change stations, similar to instant written on paper. Kerouac's interest in this poetic conception coincided with the introduction of Buddhism followed by the even beat Gary Snyder, in the 50s. The objective of the North American writer was to adapt the classic form of the Western tradition, the essence of the prevailing always Jaiku, reception of the moment, above the metric that, on occasions, could prevent the creative process. Citing author's words: "I propose that the western haiku says a lot in just three short lines ... above all, a haiku must be very simple and be free from any solution and create a poetic image, and also be as short and mild comedian as the shepherdess of Vivaldi. "

the influence of Zen, Kerouac add jazz and abstract expressionism, understood as a kind of illumination, the result of constant attention and precisely what happens. This haikus, freed from restrictions and metrics open to other influences, while retaining the essence of Eastern Europe, will take the name of pop-jaikus Americans and they appear close to classic scenes like that, new images such as stadiums ("empty field baseball / a robin / a jump to the bank "), figures of U.S. history or contemporary popular characters the author (" Buddha EIR / upstream Lanka in / as Jimmy Durante).

Although the intensity and the effect allegedly did not maintain the same level in all poems, the Book of jaikus Jack Kerouac is a very suitable alternative reading for the summer, under a parasol or in some niche of our city, preferably at night, as indicated by a print subscriber clubs Cordovani: "The smell of burning leaves, / tranquil pool for the afternoon / in August."

"Poetry is a building of words, where writers create worlds" infinite

"Octavio Paz, José Emilio Pacheco y Carvajal Juan Poetas son esenciales, y Clásicos consolidados, master of poetic truth, like Seamus Heaney, Hilda Doolittle and Paul Celan, "said the writer Pura López Colom, who unravels in broken and Tributaries, his most recent book of essays. "These six poets are essential because they cultivate the word and are located just below William Shakespeare", he said.

These poets are not easily read the word has grown and created products beautiful and true, with prayers that resonate in the ear and inside the reader. "There are poets who delve into the content of poetry, combining beauty and truth, because poetry is not fiction, but the product of traffic between physical and metaphysical reality, "he said.

Published by the Department of Literature and DGE Equilibrista UNAM, Tributaries contains nine long-winded essays, where foreigners are three poets, three Mexicans and three artists, with whom the author shares his vision of the world around her. For Lopez Colome

poetry is that building of words, where writers create those worlds to which one belongs in its own right and language, explained in an interview with The Chronicle.

MAKERS. The also a poet and author of a glass in another and Relic Octavio Paz described as "the great maker of all musical poem," term that Jorge Luis Borges conceived poetic action. "Poetry of Peace contains a meaning that falls with the weight and the combination of words, such as in Piedra de Sol" he said.

José Emilio Pacheco Instead of the more immediate experience of the person to jump into the world of the image without metaphor. "The Pacheco's poetry is meant to end in something that can be absurd and incomprehensible, and his approach is different, not through complicated sets of words."

However, an element that the author highlights in Tributaries Pacheco is breaking with Ramon Lopez Velarde, "And to understand that just go to the difference between the poems of La suave patria and high treason."

For Juan Carvajal said, he has multiple records and is one of the few Mexican poets that captures the humor in poetry, the irony with a powerful intellect, like José Emilio.

untranslatable. Romanian poet Paul Celan, the author regards it as an untranslatable, that soul of the destruction that came of age in the German language and where he designed "the symbol of death through the same language of the Holocaust, which realizes the process of disintegration" .

assured that the translation should not be literal because poetry does not infringe upon the plurality of meaning, so in fact that act is writing a new poem in another language, but with the same inherent plurality. "That happens in the best times of the task because most of the time they live moments of great dissatisfaction and frustration," he said.

The case of Heaney's poetry is remarkable because given their musicality is almost impossible to recreate in English, "only if it is conceived from the side of recreation and rebirth of a poem in English, because it would be a chimera believe you can again make music that only the original language can provide, " said.

"Seamus Heaney is the great solo that has a gregarious spirit, someone who is self-absorbed but wants to rest," he said.
